It’s never too late to join in the fun of Breaking Bread!!!
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God ... and the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:42, 46d-47.
The early church of Acts had it right! Church is not simply a place you go on Sundays. It’s who you are. Part of being the church means building relationships with each other through fellowship, prayer, study, and hospitality. Therefore, you’re invited to be the church at our Breaking Bread Dinners.
Here’s how it works:
For approximately an hour and a half, we’ll do two of our favorite things--eating and talking--to get better acquainted. We pray you’ll take this opportunity to connect with your church family and build new, lasting relationships. Each group governs itself on meeting dates, host homes and menu. It’s all about fellowship!
Get better acquainted with your fellow treasures in earthly vessels by contacting Dotty Collins at 830-629-5129, , or call the church office.
Men's group that meets for breakfast and fellowship on the

Beginning Thursday, May 23, SPICE Bible Study will begin a study of the 12 sons of Jacob. The Bible will be our primary resource, but we will also consider the symbolic depictions of the brothers by artist Marc Chagall in his 12 stained-glass windows at Jerusalem’s Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center. Using scripture, history, tradition and Chagall's artistic imagination, we hope to better understand the Jewish past, its relevance for our modern world and how God continues to have a purpose and plan for His children.
If you are interested in Bible history and/or art history, we welcome you to join us the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the church. For more information, call Lanelle Rudolph at 830-629-4670 or Kathy Quade at 830-387-4876
