Bruce Collie was born in Germany but raised in San Antonio, Texas where he finished high school in June 1980. He then played college football at the University of Texas at Arlington and was drafted into the NFL in 1985 by the SF 49ers. He played Offensive Guard for 6 years for the 49ers and then played 2 more years for the Philadelphia Eagles, before he retired in 1992. He played on back to back Super Bowl champion teams in 1989 and 1990 for the San Francisco 49ers. He now resides in Wimberley, Texas with his wife Holly and their 13 kids.
